Just returned to civilization after a week of sailing The Galápagos Islands with Ecoventura_EC! 🐢🐧🐠 ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I was completely removed from any internet connection on this trip -- and I'm so grateful I could disconnect from everything happening back home and reconnect with nature. I have never experienced a place so pristine and untouched by humans. The photos and videos I captured are INSANE and are some of my best work. Say "hello" to my little friend 💗 ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Never have I ever encountered wildlife so unafraid and curious of humans. The Galápagos National Park has taken incredible measures to protect all forms of nature and, in doing so, we can interact with birds, reptiles and animals more than anywhere else I've been in the world. While exploring different islands on our ecoventura_ec cruise, we always kept our distance and never touched the animals, but they would come right up to us -- as curious and awestruck as we were to see them. My spirit animal 🙌🏻 ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Charles Darwin was completely disgusted by the marine iguanas of the Galápagos, but I think they're awesome! Marine iguanas can only be found in the Galápagos, are gentle and eat algae (vegetarian). Maybe it's because I've always been obsessed with dinosaurs but these guys just remind me of adorable baby Godzillas. What do you think? Cute or creepy?
